Title: Clinical observation of simultaneous minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of 72 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia compticated by bladder stones
Abstract: Objective To explore the opplication of simultaneous minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) complicated by bladder stones in primary hospital. Methods Seventy-two patients with BPH complicated by bladder stones were simultaneously treated by transurethral ureteroscopic pneumatic lithotripsy and transurethral vapor-resection of the prostate. Results The operation time ranged from 80 to 160 min, with an average of 120 min. The urinary catheter was pulled 2 ~ 3 d after operation. No complications such as prostate resection syndrome, bleeding, perforation of bladder and bowel, water intoxication, urinary incontinece and so on was found. Pathological results of 72 patients showed BPH. Conclusion This simultaneous minimally invasive surgery method is safe and effective in the treatment of BPH complicated by bladder stones with characteristics of less bleeding, less injury, fewer complications, faster recovery, shorter hospital stay.
