Title: Flow Field and Its Regional Differentiation of Inter-provincial Migration in China
Abstract: Inter-provincial migration led by rapid socio-economic development and more seriously regional unevendevelopment has become more larger.Using the data of the 1 percent census in 2005 and 10 percent census in 2000,this paper analyzes the flow field and its regional differentiation of inter-provincial migration in China since 1995.It is found that migration has reached a new scale.It remains the same,even stronger trend with migration direction from mid-belt including Sichuan,Hunan,Jiangxi,Henan and Anhui to east developed belt especially including the Peal River Delta,Yangtze River Delta and Jingjintang Delta.Rapid economic development in Yangtze River Delta has lead to large scale of immigration with gross amount similar to that in Guangdong.But in Guangdong,with large increasing amount of immigration,the amount of emigration to neighbor provinces is also increasing significantly.
