Title: Relationship of Cardiac Troponin I With Late Heart Events of Patients with Coronary Heart Disease
Abstract: Objective To investigate the correlation of serum cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and the late heart events of patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods Serum cTnI and Creatine kinase isoenzyme MB of 96 patients with CHD were measured. These Patients were divided into two groups according to levels of cTnI.Based on e general clinical data and, results of coronary arteriography and follow up vist of late heart event of these patients,The correlative factors of cTnI level and heart events and their relationship were analyzed. Results Among 96 patients,34 patients has increased level of cTnI,3 patients has light increased level of creatinkinase isozyme, there is statistical significance between high cTnI and abnormal Q wave or changes of ST segment deviation(P0.01).Among 92 survival cases,87 patients have follow up visit about 24 monthes,in which there are 21 patients have heat event. The relationship between its occurrence and the increased cTnI is also have statistical significance (P0.05).Conclusion Serum cTnI is a higher sensitive and specific marker for myocardial damage, which can be an independent indicator of late heart events in patients with CHD.
