Title: cTnI and prognosis of unstable angina pectoris
Abstract: Objective To observe the relationship between the serum cTnI content and the prognosis in patients with unstable angina pectoris(UAP),and to investigate the relationship between serum cTnI content and the severity of coronary artery lesions. Methods The serum cTnI and CK-MB level of 91 UAP patients were determined. The clinical feature, severity of coronary artery lesion and occurrence of cardiac event were analyed, with logistic regression. Results In the 91 UAP patients,43 patients had an elevated serum cTnI level. There was no difference in the number of lesioned artery and score of coronary artery stenosis between the normal and high cTnI group.According to the correlation factors analyze,cTnI level was an independent risk factor to cardiac event, the relative risk value was 15.82(P0.01).Conclusion Serum cTnI level is an important biochemical indicator on the risk grading and prognosis estimation of UAP patients.
