Title: The Relationship of Level of Cardiac Troponin I and Heart Failure in Acute Myocardial Infarction Concomitant Diabetes Mellitus
Abstract: Objective:To explore the relationship of cardiac troponin I(cTnI )level and heart failure in acute myocardial infarction(AMI) concomitant diabetes mellitus(DM).Methods:74 AMI patients with heart failure into two groups:34 with DM (Group A) and 40 with non-diabetes mellitus(Group B) compared with 60 normal person(Group C). Use the chemiluminescence’s immunoassay(CLIA)approach ration to check the serum cTnI at 3,6,9, 12,15 hours after the chest aches occured. Results: The CTnI level was creasing after chest ache occurred and arrived the top at 12 hs and higher than Group C,especially in Group A. It occured heart failure after the cTnI level arrised to 12μg/L. Conclusion:It may be a threshold of heart failure in AMI with DM when the cTnI level arrised to 12μg/L. There is a great significance to check cTnI in AMI with DM patients.
