Title: Clinical study of depression and anxiety comorbided disorder
Abstract: Objective:To investigate the prevalence of depression and anxiety comorbided disorder, and explore its characters and prognosises. Method: 150 depressive patients were assessed by Hamilton depressive scale (HAMD),Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA),clinical global impression scale (CGI) and social disability screening scale (SDSS) at baseline and three months after treatment. Results:45.3% of the patients were coexistence with anxiety disorders,22.0% with general anxiety disorder and 13.3% with panic disorder.Patients in comorbidity group had higher scores in HAMD,HAMA, CGI and SDSS at baseline and three months after treatment (P0.05).The reduction of HAMD score was significant lower in the patients of comorbidity group (P0.05).There was no significant difference in the reduction of HAMA between the two groups. Conclusion:The incidence of coexistence of anxiety and depression is higher,which characterized by heavier symptoms in depressive and anxiety,severe impairment in social function and difficulty in anxiety symptom relieving.
