Abstract:Objective:To study the frequency and therapeutic effect of anxious and depressive disorders in patients with stroke.Methods:200 patients were assessed with Hamilton rating scale for anxiety(HAMA) and ...Objective:To study the frequency and therapeutic effect of anxious and depressive disorders in patients with stroke.Methods:200 patients were assessed with Hamilton rating scale for anxiety(HAMA) and Hamilton rating scale for depression (HAMD).The patients with anxious and depressive disorders were treated with antianxiety agents and antidepressants such as benzodiazepines and fluoxetine.Results:In the 200 patients,the frequencies of anxious and depressive disorders were 49% and 37 5% ,respectively,recovery rates of treatment were 82 3% and 85 7%, respectively.The scores of HAMA and HAMD were much lower after treatmen than before treatment ( P 0 01).Conclusion:The frepuencies of anxious and depressive disorders in patients with stroke are very high,and the therapeatic effect of antianxiety agents and antidepressants is obvious.Read More
