Title: Depression in Patient with Parkinson Disease
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the clinical feature of depression in patients with Parkinson disease and the related factors.Methods: 120 patients were divided into two group,PD group and control group.All PD patients were divided into depression and non-depression groups according to the results of Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),then the differences between the two groups in some factors,such as grade of Hoehn-Yahr(H-Y),motor scale of united Parkinson's disease rating scale(UPDRS),were statistically analyzed.Analysis was used to screen the risk factors.Results: 23 cases were identified to have depression in PD group,2 cases have depression in control group.The motor score of UPDRS、HAMD were higher in PD group which identified to have depression.The duration of disease was longer in the depression group than in the non-depression group.Conclusion: The incidence of depression was higher in patients with PD.PD patients of different clinical types had different characteristics of depression.The degrees are related to duration of disease and degree of dysfunction.
