Title: The clinical applied value of detection of tumor markers in the diagnosis of ovarian tumor
Abstract: Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of detecting the serum tumor-marker in patients with gynecologic tumors pre-operation. Methods The serum levels of AFP,CEA,CA50,CA125,and CA199 in 24 patients with ovary cancer,57 patients with benign ovary tumor and 29 normal women were examined by using radioimmunoassay. Results The average levels of AFP,CEA,CA50 and CA199 of patients with benign ovary tumor were normal and that of CA125 was beyond the normal value. The average level of serum AFP,CA125 and CA199 in benign or malignant and normal ones were significantly different as compared with that of the normal controls(P0.01);comparing with the normal and benign group, the average level of CEA in malignant patients showed no significant diference(P0.05). The positive rate of CA125 in benign ones was 26.32%,the positive rate of other four markers detected by combination test was 33.33%;level of CEA individually detected in malignant ones was 12.5%,the positive rates of others markers wre all above 50%(P0.01),the positive rate of of markers detected by combination test was 91.67%(P0.01). Conclusion The combined detection of AFP,CA50,CA125 and CA199 possesses relatively high value in clinical diagnosis of malignant ovary tumor preoperation.
