Title: The technique of transperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy for treatment of ureteral calculi
Abstract: Objective:To explore the safety,efficacy and operation technique of transperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy.Methods:Between Oct.2002 and Oct.2005,87 cases performed transperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy were retrospectively analyzed.The diameters of calculi were from 5 to 28mm.Results:All the operations were successful in the first stage.The operation time was 40 to 310min(mean 85min).The drain tube in abdominal were removed 2 to 3 days after operation and the hospitalization time was 5 to 7days.During the following 6 to 12 months,no ureteral stricture was found.Conclusions:Transperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy is a safe and effective method for ureteral calculi.It has the advantages of mini-invasion,early resumption and short hospitalization time.
