Title: Effect of Percutaneous Coronary Interventional Therapy for Acute Myocardial Infarction on Cardiac Remodeling and Nterminal Brain Natriuretic Peptide Precursor
Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of percutaneous coronary interventional(PCI) therapy for acute myocardial infarction(AMI) on cardiac remodeling and N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-proBNP).Methods During January 2012 and January 2013,38 patients with AMI underwent emergency PCI therapy as observation group, and 40 patients treated with thrombolysis drug therapy were chosen as control groups.Changes of NT-proBNP concentration, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic dimension(LVEDD) and left ventricular end diastolic volume(LVEDV) before and after treatment in the two groups were observed. Results After treatment NT-proBNP concentrations were lower than those before treatment, while LVEF was higher than those before treatment in the two groups, and the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05);the differences of NT-proBNP concentrations and LVEF after treatment in the two groups were statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion PCI therapy in treatment of AMI may realize myocardial ischemia reperfusion as soon as possible, reduce the area of myocardial infarction and improve left ventricular function.
