Title: The recalcitrant overactive bladder patient.
Abstract: Overactive bladder (OAB), the most prevalent form of urinary incontinence, is due to involuntary contractions of the bladder (detrusor) muscle with symptoms of urinary frequency, urgency, and urge incontinence. Overactive bladder is often managed with pharmacologic intervention that focuses on inhibiting detrusor activity and increasing bladder capacity.
