Title: Intravesical Treatments for Overactive Bladder
Abstract: Overactive bladder (OAB) is a recently defined symptom complex that includes urinary urgency with or without urge incontinence, urinary frequency (voiding eight or more times in a 24-h period), and nocturia (awakening two or more times at night to void) (1–3). The overall prevalence of OAB in Western Europe and the United States is 16–17% (4,5). The symptoms of OAB can affect quality of life and are associated with social, occupational, and psychological disruption.
