Title: Bus services across the UK - eleventh report of session 2005-06
Abstract: This report presents the results of a UK government inquiry into UK bus service provision. Following reports of service decline, the inquiry investigated the effect of deregulation on service provision and quality, the effect of bus priority measures, funding questions, the viability of free travel for disabled and elderly people, the powers of traffic commissioners, the value of the city of London as a model for the country as a whole, and the future of bus service provision.
