In all experiments, the drought resistance wheat, Hua 84, was more superior to the drought-susception wheat, Jimai 24. It showed more vigorous under water stress. Drought resistance at the cellular level was accord with that at the intact plant level. So the callus can be used to study the mechanism of drought resistance instead of intact plant.Read More
