Abstract:[Objective] To analysis the public health emergencies in Chaoyang District of Beijing from 2006 to 2008,in order to provide scientific bases for the prevention,control and effective response for the p...[Objective] To analysis the public health emergencies in Chaoyang District of Beijing from 2006 to 2008,in order to provide scientific bases for the prevention,control and effective response for the public health emergencies. [Methods] Descriptive epidemiological method was used to analyze the characteristics of the emergencies. [Results] There were 28 reported cases of public health emergencies from 2006 to 2008,including 26 cases in level Ⅳ and 2 cases in level Ⅲ. There were 396 illness cases and 13 death cases. Infectious diseases,drinking water pollution and food poisoning accounted for 35.70%,28.60%,and 17.9% of all the emergencies,respectively. 60.70% of the reported events occurred in villages. The events mainly occurred between July to October,accounted for 60.70%,which mostly were alimentary canal infectious diseases and food poisoning. Average reporting time was 6.7 hours. All cases were reported in time. [Conclusion] Attentions should be paid to the prevention and control of infectious diseases and drinking water pollution.Public health in schools should be strengthened. The reporting system of public health emergencies should also be improved.Read More
