Title: Study on the efficacy of endoscopic transurethral renal ultrasound/pneumatic lithotripsy in treatment of urinary tract stones
Abstract: Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of endoscopic transurethral renal ultrasound/pneumatic lithotripsy in treatment of urinary tract stones. Methods 56 cases of patients with urinary tract stones in our hospital from 2008 to 2011,were randomly divided into observation group and control group, the observation group was given endoscopic transurethral renal ultrasound/pneumatic ballistic lithotripsy treatment, and control group used pneumatic lithotripsy treatment of renal endoscopic transurethral.Statistical analysis to the two groups were compared with intraoperative stone clearance time, postoperative stone clearance as well as complications. Results The intraoperative stone clearance time and the stones disposable clearance of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group; and the complication rate was also lower than that of the control group, showing statistical significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion Endoscopic transurethral renal ultrasound/pneumatic lithotripsy in treatment of urinary tract stones has the exact clinical efficacy, with less complication, worthy of clinical application.
