Title: Percutaneous nephrolithotripsy with ultrasonic and pneunmtic lithotripter for renal calculunder the guidance of B-ultrasound (report of 60 cases)
Abstract: Objective To investigate the approach and safety of percutaneous nephrolithotripsy with ultrasonic and pneumatic lithotripter for renal calculi. Methods Sixty patients underwent percutaneous nephrolithotripsy using an EMS Ⅲ pneumatic and ultrasonic lithotripter.Clinical data were analyzed retrospectively. Results Sixty cases in this group.the stones were cleared of in 55 of the 60 cases after the 1st session.the stone-free rate was 91.7%,only 5 cases of relict little stones in the lower renal calvx were treated by ESWL for the second time and then cleared of.The average operative time was 1.1 hours.average hospitalization being 10.2 days. Conclusions Treatment of complex renal calculi with PCNL associated by pneumatic and ultrasound lithotripsy has obvious advantages, less invasion, stones can cleared of by the ultrasound equipment with subpressure simultaneously, the eficiency of stone-free is much increased, and the method of treatment is worthy of popularization.
