Title: Diagnosis value of serum myoglobin, urine cystatin C and urinary retinol binding protein on early diabetic kidney disease
Abstract: Objective
To investigate the expression of myoglobin(Myo), urinary cystatin C(Cyc-C) and urinary retinol binding protein (RBP) in early diabetic nephropathy patients.
Methods
A total of 26 cases of diabetic normal albuminuric period(DM), 22 cases of early stage of diabetic nephropathy(DN), 28 cases of diabetic nephropathy stage (DKD) and 23 cases in normal control group (NC) were selected. The levels of Myo, RBP, blood and urine Cyc-C were detected. At the same time, the levels of serum creatinine (CRE) and urinary albumin (mALB) were detedced, and the results were statistically analyzed.
Results
There was no significant difference between DM group and NC group (P>0.05). There were significant differences between NC group and DKD group, DN group (P<0.01). The positive rates of combined detection of serum Cyc-C, Myo and urine RBP, Cyc-C were higher than that of single index detection, the differences were significant(P<0.05).
Conclusions
The combined detection of serum myoglobin (myo), urinary cystatin C Cyc-C and urinary retinol protein (RBP) has important significance in the early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy.
