Abstract:To measure two-phase flow rate accurately,the James' model with Venturi tube was selected for measurement and analysis.The measurement result indicates that the two-phase flow is divided into two type...To measure two-phase flow rate accurately,the James' model with Venturi tube was selected for measurement and analysis.The measurement result indicates that the two-phase flow is divided into two types,one includes bubble flow, dispersed bubble flow and plug flow,the other includes slug flow and annular flow.The amended correlation of James′ model was gained based on the identification of flow patterns.The mean square root of flow-rate error was decreased from 0.174 to 0.042.The test result shows that amending the correlation based on the flow patterns can increase the measurement accuracy.The fluctuation coefficient of two-phase flow is relative to the measurement accuracy.The measurement accuracy is getting worse with the increase of fluctuation coefficient.Read More
