Title: Absorption and Separation of Red Pigments by Macroporous Resin from Pyracantha fortuneana
Abstract: The extraction and purification technology of the red pigments from Pyracantha fortuneana is investigated by orthogonal design method. The preferable extraction conditions were as follows: solvent 80% ethanol, ratio of solvent to material 40,pH 3.0,temperature 50℃,time of extraction 3 h,the purification conditions for adsorption were X-5 macroporous resin, ratio of height to diameter of the resin loaded in the column 15,rate of elution 3 mL·min-1,pH3.0,concentration of the extract being separated 1 g·L-1.The amount of adsorption of the extract reached 0.037 15 g·mL-1 wet resin. The elution conditions were 95% ethanol as solvent,pH 2.0,elution rate 5 mL·min-1,3 times of the resin volume of eluent.
