Title: Influence of the Lay Buddhist on the Traditional Culture and Education in Northern Wei Dynasty
Abstract: The Northern Wei Dynasty was an important period of the multivariate culture's blending and collision.Though the scholar-officials mainly have inheritd Chinese native culture,but their personalities and ideas were not limited by this.Besides the Confucianism,they also have studied Taoism and Buddhism,the later two has further enriched traditional family education which take the after generation study of the Confucian classics as its mainly contents.With the revival of Buddhism,those scholar-officials as lay Buddhist participated in the Buddhistic philosophy's extension actively.As a result,the Buddhistic Culture had the major impact on Chinese traditional culture and the ethos of Metaphysics prevailed in the Northern Wei Dynasty.
