It was spread among the people as the dependency of Taoism. Until Dong Jin Dynasty, because of talking about nihility, it was reconciled with metaphysics and widely received by high scholars, who made use of it to compromise Confucianism and Buddhism. From Liu Song Dynasty to Southern Dynasties, because many emperors strongly advocated Buddhism, generally built Buddhism temples, organized on a large scale in translating Buddhist scripture and expounding the texts of Buddhism,even practiced by themselves,gave their lives for Buddhism and so on…All the factors resulted in Buddhism growing so fast in China that it farther going beyond Chinese Taoism and at last becoming Chinese another big religious sect. Making a comprehensive survey of this period's Buddhism,the development of it was still in a first step. But with Buddhism spread and related with high scholars even emperors, it inevitably was bound to infiltrate high scholars'usual acquaintance and writing, which was expressed in poems, fu and prose.
