Title: HPLC simultaneous determination of 4 effective components in Wanshi Niuhuang Qingxin tablets
Abstract: Objective: To establish an HPLC method for simultaneous determination of jasminoidin,baicalin,palmatine hydrochloride and berberine hydrochloride in Wanshi Niuhuang Qingxin tablets.Methods: The samples were separated on an Alltima HP C18(4.6 mm ×250 mm,5 μm) column,by a gradient elution using acetonitrile(A) and 6 mmol.L-1 monopotassium phosphate(B) as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL.min-1.The column temperature was set at 20 ℃.The wavelength was set as follows: 238 nm for jasminoidin(0-18 min),280 nm for baicalin(18-30 min),345 nm for palmatine and berberine(30-43 min).Results: The linear ranges of jasminoidin,baicalin,palmatine and berberine were all 10-250 μg.mL-1(0.9998 r 0.9999),the average recoveries(n = 6) were 97.4%,99.1%,101.0% and 97.3% respectively,and RSDs were less than 2.0%.Conclusion: A simple,accurate HPLC with multi-wavelength detection method has been successfully established for simultaneous determination of 4 effective components in Wanshi Niuhuang Qingxin tablets.The method herein described is helpful for the quality control of Wanshi Niuhuang Qingxin tablets.
