Title: Relative Relationship Between Clinical and Angiographic Characteristic for Coronary Heart Disease in 2 303 Female Patients
Abstract: To investigate the relationship between clinical and angiographic characteristics of the female patients with coronary heart disease(CHD).We analyzed 2 303female patients with CHD who underwent angiography in our heart center recent 3years.The different clinical and angiographic characteristics among female CHD patients were compared to male patients with CHD,and were further analyzed during the different time before and after menopause.Compared with male patients, the elder female patients(60years)had much more clinical risk factors and more severe coronary vessel lesion. The further analysis showed that the increased ratios in diabetes mellitus, abnormal low density lipoprotein and fibrinogen in among main CHD risk factors, and in multivessel disease and type C complicated lesions in female patients had positive relationship along with the increasing time menopause(P0.05),but the ratio in type C complicated lesions had negative relationship along with the increasing time menopause(P0.05).Meanwhile,the data indicated that the CHD risk factors in female were significantly increasing from 5to 10years after menopause, and the vessel disease became prominently severe since 10years after menopause. In female CHD patients, both the CHD severity and the CHD risk factors significantly progresses after menopause. These data suggested that further efforts should be made to prevent the concomitant CHD risk factors and the CHD worsening in female patients after menopause.
