Title: Study of Correlation between Acute Coronary Syndrome and Serum Uric Acid
Abstract: Objective To discuss the relationship between acute coronary syndrome and the level of serum uric acid. Methods Serum level of uric acid in ACS patients was measured by means of ELISA and compared with that of stable angina pectoris patients and normal controls attended a routine health check. Results The level of serum uric acid in ACS patients significantly elevated as compared with those of SAP patients and normal controls(P 0. 05); The comparison between the level of uric acid in SAP patients and that of normal controls was not significant(P 0.05). Conclusion The development of ACS may correlate with the level of serum uric acid.
