Abstract:To optimize all experimental parameters for extracting Baicalin from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi,five factors such as alcohol concentration,volume of solvent,the time of immersion and extraction,as...To optimize all experimental parameters for extracting Baicalin from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi,five factors such as alcohol concentration,volume of solvent,the time of immersion and extraction,as well as the herb granularity were selected and 10 sets of extraction experiments were designed according to the U-(10)(10~5) uniform design form.For each extract,no peak was observed to disturb the baicalin in chromatogram.The concentration of baicalin in each extraction experiment was calculated based on the calibration curve constructed with a series of baicalin standards with different concentrations.The optimized extraction parameters were determined by the multiple regression analysis.Experimental results showed that it could get much more yield of baicalin if 60% of alcohol concentration,70~90 mL of alcohol,0~3 h of dip time,120 min of extraction time and 0.1~0.5 mm of granularity were selected,and more stable multiple regression result could be obtained if much more experimental sets would be arranged.Read More
