Title: Influence of ulinastatin on serum TNF-α,IL-6 and hs-CRP in patients with severe acute pancreatitis
Abstract: Objective To study the influence of ulinastatin on the serum TNF-α,IL-6 and hs-CRP in the patients with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).Method Eighty SAP patients were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group with forty patients in each group. Both groups were given routine treatment, while the patients of the treatment group were given ulinastatin in addition, for 10 days. The clinical curative effect was assessed and the serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and hs-CRP were measured on the first and seventh day in both groups. Results Compared with the control group, the clinical curative effect of ulinastatin treatment increased(P0.05) after treatment. The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and hs-CRP were significantly decreased in both groups after 7 days(P0.01),while the declining of the serum levels of the three cytokines in the treatment group were more obvious than that in the control group(P0.01).Conclusion Ulinastatin can treat SAP patients by reducing the serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and hs-CRP,inhibiting inflammatory reaction.
