Title: Study on clinical prognostic assessment value of S-100B detection in patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage
Abstract: Objective To observe the dynamic change of acute cerebral hemorrhage patient serum S-100B protein, and analyze the relationship of the clinical symptoms, signs and the prognosis of the patients with cerebral hemorrhage. Methods Serum S-100B protein of 80 cases of patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage and 80 patients of control group were dynamic measurement by using ELlSA method and compared, bleeding volume were detected by CT,and after 1 month the prognosis was assessed with the Glasgow outcome score(GOS).Results For the patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage, blood serum S-100B protein concentration in the first day began to increase, the third days reached the peak, the seventh, tenth day over the other time decreased, was significantly higher than the recovery peri od and the control group(P 0.05).The concentration and the amount of bleeding significantly correlated(P 0.05),and S-100B protein content increased with the severity of the disease increased(P 0.05).Conclusion S-100B can be early sensitive index of brain injury in patients with acute intracerebral hemorrhage, and the prognosis for the pa tient evaluation has important clinical value.S-100B protein could be as an early dynamic observation index of cere bral hemorrhage diagnosis and prognosis estimation.
