Title: Blood pressure management for prognosis of patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage
Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of different managements of blood pressure target on prognosis of patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage( ICH). Methods A retrospective analysis of clinical data from 2013 to 2015 was conducted on 48 patients admitted to the ICU with spontaneous supratentorial hemorrhage. The patients were divided into a standard therapy group and an intensive therapy group according to the blood pressure management objectives. Their blood pressure was controlled in the respective level within 1 hour of admission. After 3 weeks of treatment, the patients were assessed in terms of nerve function impairment( using NIHSS rating scale),the efficacy of the treatment and acute cerebrovascular events. Results The two groups of patients showed significant difference as for acute cerebrovascular events occurring during the treatment and neurological deficit scores after treatment. Conclusion For spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage patients, blood pressure control at the ideal level is beneficial for improving prognosis.
