Title: Intertextuality in Translation of Chinese Neologisms into English
Abstract: With the development of human society,men have more power to know and change our world,and the neologisms have been created to reflect such changes.The translation of the Chinese neologisms into English may be a kind of complicated intercultural communication.In order to reach the goal of being readable and innovative in translation,a translator should deal with the relevant cultural differences between the two linguistic texts.This article analyzes the lexical gap in translating the Chinese neologisms into English in intertextuality theory in an attempt to treat it seriously as a new approach in this field.
