Title: Study on vitrification of human immature oocytes
Abstract: Objective:To set up an efficient method for utilization of immature oocytes retrieved from routine COH with vitrification.Methods:1.The oocytes of GV stage retrieved in 38,43,and 60 hours after hCG injection were vitrificated. After thawing, the immature oocytes were subjected to IVM.ICSI was applied for insemination of the obtained mature oocytes. The rates of survival, maturation, fertilization, cleavage and blastocyst were compared.2.The rates of survival, maturation, fertilization, cleavage and blastocyst obtained both from the procedure of vitrification before IVM or IVM before vitirficaion were compared.Results:1.There were no differences between group 38 and 43 hours in each compared rate. The rates of maturation, fertilization and cleavage obviously lowered in group 60 hours. No blastocyst appeared in each group. No differences were found in both procedure of cryopreservation before IVM or IVM before cryopreservaton. Conclusion:It was better to cryopreserve the GV oocyte retrieved in 38 and 43 h after hCG injection. The availability was not different both in the procedure of dryopreservation before IVM or IVM before cryopreservaton.
