Abstract:Objective To investigate the evolvement of T cell immune activation markers on peripheral blood in patients of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS).Methods Level of sCD27,proportion of CD28+CD8+,C...Objective To investigate the evolvement of T cell immune activation markers on peripheral blood in patients of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS).Methods Level of sCD27,proportion of CD28+CD8+,CD28+CD4+,HLA-DRCD8+,CD38+CD8+ and CD4+T lymphocytes counts in peripheral blood of 105 HIV/AIDS patients were analyzed,15 healthy donors were selected as the normal control.The change of T cell immune activation level along with disease phase and CD4+ T lymphocytes counts were investigated.Results Level of sCD27 and percentage of HLA-DR/CD8+ and CD38+CD8+ increased significantly in patients with AIDS.Level of sCD27 in the phase of C3 was higher than that of B3,while percentages of CD28+CD4+,CD28+CD8+,CD38+CD8+ and HLA-DRCD8+ were higher in the patients of CD4+T lymphocytes200/μl than those 200/μl group.Conclusions T cell immune activation level in HIV /AIDS patients increased,especially in the patients of CD4+ T lymphocytes200/μl.There was a correlation between T cell immune activation level and disease progression.Read More
