Title: Clinical Significance of Serum Non High Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol Level in Predictive Diagnosis of Coronary Heart Disease
Abstract: Objective To study the clinical significance and value of serum non high density lipoprotein cholestero(lnon-HDL-C)level in the predictive diagnosis of coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods The levels of serum TCH,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C in 128 patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI),107 patients with unstable angina pectoris(UAP)and 3268 healthy persons were detected. And then non-HDL-C level was calculated and compared among the groups divided by gender and age. Results The non-HDL-C level in 3268 healthy persons was significantly higher in male than that in female and was increased with age,and the serum non-HDL-C level was significantly higher in CHD group than that in control group(P0.05 and P0.01).Conclusion The method of detecting non-HDL-C level shows no interference, and it is rapid, convenient, simple and credible in the assessment and prediction of CHD risk.
