Title: Change of serum prealbumin and hyaluronic acid in patients with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning
Abstract: Objective To investigate the change of plasma prealbumin(PAB) and serum hyaluronic acid(HA) in patients with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(AOPP). Methods Serum HA and plasma PAB were measured in 83 patients with AOPP and compared with 30 healthy controls. The 83 patients were divided into slight poisoning group, moderate poisoning group and server poisoning group. Results There were difference in plasma PBA and serum HA between slight poisoning group and controls. But the conventionality liver function index, alanine aminotransferase(ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST), total bilirubin (TBIL), total protein(TB), albumin(ALB) was not significantly different compared with controls (P0.05).Serum HA, AST, ALT, TBIL were gradually increased and plasma PBA was decreased with the degree of poisoning. Conclusion Plasma PBA and serum HA are sensitive index of the liver damage with AOPP,and can serve as an index for judging AOPP. It is important in changing cure plan and preventing liver damage cause.
