Title: A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial of Sparfloxacin Versus Ofloxacin in the Treatment of Bacterial Infections
Abstract: Aim To evaluate the efficacy and safety of sparfloxacin in the treatment of bacterial infections.Methods A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted.Ofloxacin was used as the control drug.Dosage:sparfloxacin,0.2g,intravenous infusion,once daily;ofloxacin,0.2g,intravenous infusion,q12h.The duration of treatment was 7~14 days.Results The overall efficacy rates of sparfloxacin and ofloxacin were 85.71% and 85.0% respectively.The bacterical clearance rates were 72.73% in the sparfloxacin group and 77.78% in the ofloxacin group.There was no statistical significant difference between the two groups for the above results.The adverse reaction rates of sparfloxacin and ofloxacin were 9.52% and 5.0%,respectively.Conclusion Sparfloxacin is a highly effective and safe broad-spectrum antibacterial agent for the treatment of bacterial infections.
