Title: The Analysis of Quantity of Plumbum and Deleading Reagent Added which Influenced Determination of Reducing Sugar in Sugarcane Juice
Abstract: [Objective]This paper aims to study the quantity of plumbum(clarifier) and the quantity of deleading reagent influencing the follow-up process of reducing sugar in sugar cane juice determination using Lane-Eynong method.[Method]Treatments of different quantity of plumbum(1.0 ml,1.5 ml,2.0 ml,2.5 ml,3.0 ml) and different quantity of deleading reagent(1.0 ml,1.5 ml,2.0 ml,2.5 ml,3.0 ml) are established so as to test the reducing sugar amount under different treatments.[Result]The lowest level of reducing sugar is obtained with 1.0 ml plumbum. When the quantity of plumbum is 1.5 ml,the higher level of reducing sugar is obtained. There had no remarkable increase when the quantity of plumbum is between 2.0 ml and 3.0 ml.Lower level of reducing sugar is resulted with higher quantity of deleading reagent.[Conclusion]The suitable quantity of plumbum is from 1.5 ml to 2.0 ml and the suitable quantity of deleading reagent is from 2.0 ml to 2.5 ml.
