Title: Experimental study of Qidonghuoxueyin on acute lung injury in rats
Abstract: Objectives: To observe the change of TNF and IL-10 in rats with acute lung injury induced by oleic acid, and to evaluate the effects of Qidonghuoxueyin(QD) on them. Methods : 80 Wistar rats were divided into five groups randomly: control group, model group,QD group,DXM group,QD plus DXM group. The acute lung injury model was established by a single intravenous injection of oleic acid, while the control group used normal sodium.QD were administrated via esophagus 24hs,12hs and 1h before the injection of oleic acid in QD group and QD plus DXM group;intraperitoneal injection of DXM(5mg/kg)were given 1h before the injection;then all the rats were executed 2hs after the injection, then the lung tissue and the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF)were collected. Then specimens of lung tissue were stained with hematoxylin-eosin(HE),and the concentration of TNF-α,IL-10 in lung and BALF were detected. Results Compared with control group: the concentration of TNF-α,IL-10 in lung tissue and BALF in every group increased remarkly, and they all had statistical difference(P0.05).Compared with model group: the concentration of TNF-αin lung and BALF were lower in treated groups, while the IL-10 had a contrary change, and had significant difference(P0.05)except for IL-10 in BALF in QD group. Conclusion: ALI rat models induced by oleic acid were established successfully; The protective mechanism of QD might contributed to it’s inhibition of TNF-α and up-regulation of IL-10.
