Abstract:Objective To evaluate the main technique of 64-slice spiral coronary angiography.Methods One hundred and twenty patients had underwent 64-slice CT coronary angiography with GE 64-slice CT scanner.Plai...Objective To evaluate the main technique of 64-slice spiral coronary angiography.Methods One hundred and twenty patients had underwent 64-slice CT coronary angiography with GE 64-slice CT scanner.Plain and enhanced imagings were performed by retrospective ECG gating in all patients.The raw data were reconstructed from 35%to 85%with every 5%.The reconstructed images were then processed into volume rendering(VR)and multiplanner reconstruction(MPR)and maximum intensity projection(MIP),and curved planner reconstruction(CPR)to display the cornary artery and its branches.Results The coronary segments in CT coronary angiography were accessible and could accurately display the coronary arteries and the pathological changes in vessel walls in patients with a heart rate of80 beats per minute,while 64-slice CT coronary angiography couldn’t display well small segment of coronary artery in patient with a heart rate of90 beats per minute.Conclusion As raw data were reconstructed well,64-slice CT coronary angiography can display small segment of coronary artery and assess coronary artery diseases with high accuracy with a stable heart rate of 80 beats perminute,which hashighly clinicalvalue.Read More
