Materials and Methods: Fifty-two patients underwent MSCT coronary angiography, with GE MSCT scanner, slice thickness 1.25mm, helical pitch 0.275∶1, contrast media(Omnipaque) was injected intravenously(2mlkg) at the speed of 3.5~4mls. The reconstructed images were then processed into volume rendering(VR) and multiplanner reconstruction(MPR) and curved planner reconstruction(CPR) and virtual endoscopy(VE). Results: With MSCT angiography of coronary arteries good image quality was achieved in patients with a heart rate of 75 beats per minute. Conclusion: Under given conditions, good coronary artery image quality can be obtained with MSCT angiography. MSCT coronary artery image could be used for screening of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. It has high value in the evaluation of post-operation as well as graft vessel and stent.Read More
