Title: Treatment of renal calculi with minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy guided By ultrasound
Abstract: [Objective] To evaluate the feasibility and adaptability of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (MPCNL) guided by ultrasound. [Methods] We retrospectively investigated 21 patients with renal calculi, who were treated with MPCNL guided by ultrasound from January to may 2004. [Results] The successive rate of single puncture is very high, up to 95%, free from block in all cases after operations. [Conclusions] MPCNL to renal calculi guided by ultrasound is an excellent modality and it is worthwhile to be widely used.
