Title: Study of extraction technique of the β-carotene from carrot
Abstract: This paper studies the extraction technology of the β-carotene from carrot,analyzes the factors of the temperature,time and the solid-liquid ratio.Single factor test shows that: with the increasing temperature,β-carotene content increased.When the temperature is 60℃,the content is the largest.Then with increasing temperature,the β-carotene content rapidly reduces.β-carotene content increases with the passing of extracting time,the maximum at 2.5h is reached and then decreases a longer time.When the solid-liquid ratio is in between 1∶9 to 1∶6,the β-carotene content increased.Orthogonal test shows that: with the organic solvent acetone and petroleum ether(1∶4) at 60 ℃,the solid-liquid ratio of 1∶5 extracting 2h the β-carotene content is the higher.
