Title: Experimental Study on Extraction Technology Condition for Lycopene
Abstract: [Objective] The study was to determine the extraction technology for lycopene.[Method] The orthogonal test was taken to study the effects of liquid-to-solid ratio, extraction temperature, extraction time and extraction times on the extraction rate of lycopene.[Result] The extraction effect with ethyl acetate was the best,so ethyl acetate was selected as the extraction solvent. With the increasing of liquid-to-solid ratio, the extraction rate of lycopene was increased and when liquid-to-solid ratio was above 4∶1(ml/g),the extraction rate of lycopene was increased slowly. When pH was lower than 6,the extraction rate of pigment was increased along with the increment of pH value. When pH was higher than 6,the extraction rate of pigment was decreased along with the increment of pH value,The effects of each factor on extraction rate of lycopene in order was liquid-to-solid ratioextraction timesextraction timeextraction temperature.[Conclusion] The optimum extraction technology for lycopene was that liquid-to-solid ratio of 4∶1(ml/g),extraction time of 50 min, extraction temperature of 45 ℃ and extraction times of 3.Under this condition, the extraction rate of lycopene was above 85%.
