Title: A comparative study of CT in adrenal adenoma
Abstract: Objective To improve the accordance of imaging diagnosis and clinic diagnosis, the paper studied the CT findings of adrenal adenoma compared with pathology. Methods 16 cases(male:9 cases,Female:7 cases)adrenal adenoma from 2000 to 2005 which confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analysed. The age is from 21 to 62 years old (mean:43) . All the patients underwent CT scan (plain and enhanced CT) . GE Synergy Plus spiral CT were used. Results Sixeen cases were all unabilitary, 11cases in the right and 5 cases in the left. The minimum lesion is 9×12mm. The maximum is 170×120mm. The main imaging appearance was ball oroval, iso or signal low density mass on adrenal, partly enhancement on CT . Results ①Adrenal adenoma has characteristic imaging appearance on CT ; ②Combined with clinic date. Adrenal adenoma can be differentiated from other adrenal diseases.
