Title: Annexin I expression in transitional cell carcinoma of bladder, atypical hyperplasia and normal bladder mucosa
Abstract: Objective:To study the expression level of Annexin Ⅰ in normal bladder mucosa, atypical hyperplasia and transitional cell carcinoma of bladder, and provide experimental and theoretical guide for the diagnosis and treatment of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder. Methods: Annexin Ⅰ expression was examined by immunohistochemical SABC method in 10 normal bladder mucosa,22 atypical hyperplasia and 67 transitional cell carcinoma of bladder tissues. Results:The positive rates of Annexin Ⅰ expression in normal bladder mucosa, atypical hyperplasia and transitional cell carcinoma of bladder were 100%,31.82% and 29.85%,respectively.Conclusion:The results of strong Annexin Ⅰexpression in normal bladder mucosa and weak Annexin Ⅰexpression in the atypical hyperplasia and transitional cell carcinoma ofbladder indicate that Annexin Ⅰ may play an important role in the development of early transitional cell carcinoma of bladder, and it could be a useful biological marker of early diagnosis of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder.
