Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of sedatives and antidepressants on acute burned patients with psychological disorders. Method:SAS self rating anxiety scale , SDS self rating depression scale, HAM...Objective:To investigate the effect of sedatives and antidepressants on acute burned patients with psychological disorders. Method:SAS self rating anxiety scale , SDS self rating depression scale, HAMA anxiety scale and HAMD depression scale were used to examine the hospitalized burned patients within 2 weeks. Among 220 patients , 66 patients got obviously anxiety disorder and/or depression disorder. They were divided into two groups, the study group and the control group. Sedatives and / or antidepressants were applied in the study group. Result: The HAMA anxiety scale and HAMD depression scale evaluations shown the anxiety and/or depressive symptoms were ameliorated significantly in study group( P 0.01). Conclusion:Psychological disorder is one of the complications in burned patients. The anxiety and depression symptoms could be improved obviously by sedatives and / or antidepressants application in burned patients during hospitalization.Read More
