Title: The changes and clinical significance of serum Cystatin C and CRP levels in acute rejection after renal transplantation
Abstract: Objective To investigate the change and clinical significance of Cystatin C and CRP levels in acute rejection after renal transplantation. Methods Immuoturbidmetric method was applied for detecting Cystatin C and CRP levels of 80 normal subjects and 86 cases of patients before renal transplantation, acute rejection and stable renal function. Results Serum Cystatin C and CRP levels in acute rejection and stable renal function patients were obviously higher than that in control group(P0.01),which were significantly lower compared with that of before renal transplantation(P0.01).However,Serum Cystatin C and CRP levels in acute rejection patients were obviously higher than that in patients with stable renal function(P0.01).Conclusion Cystatin C and CRP can be used as immunobiologic markers for adjuvant diagnosis of acute rejection after renal transplantation.
