Title: Microwave-assisted extraction for flavonoids from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi
Abstract: Objective:The microwave-assisted extraction(MAE) technique was used to extract flavonoids from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi.Methods:The effects of solvents,liquor-solid ratio,extraction temperature,particle size,microwave power and extraction time on the extracting rates of flavonoids were determined by single factor test.Results:When 50% ethanol as solvents,liquor-solid ratio was 20 mL/g and microwave power was 800 W,40 mesh of particles sample was treated at 90℃ for 8 min,the highest extraction rate of flavonoids was 99.42% which was higher than reflue extraction method for 4 h.Conclusion:MAE has characteristics of high efficiency and selectivity,saving time and energy for extracting flavonoids from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi.
