Title: Study on microwave-assisted extraction and determination of total flavonoids from Angelica Keiskei Koidzumi
Abstract: The extraction and determination techniques of total flavonoids in Angelica Keiskei Koidzumi were investigated.The microwave-assisted extraction progress of total flavonoids was studied to get the optimum conditions by single factor and orthogonal experiments.The content of total flavonoids was determined by ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer with AlCl3 and Al(NO3)3 developing methods,respectively.The optimum conditions of AlCl3 developing method were 85% ethanol concentration,extraction 3 times,600W microwave power,1:25 of material to liquid ratio,80 seconds extraction time.Under these conditions,the total flavonoids yield was 1.48%.The optimum conditions of Al(NO3)3 developing method were 40% ethanol concentration,extraction 3 times,700W microwave power,1:25 of material to liquid ratio,80 seconds extraction time.Under these conditions,the total flavonoids yield was 1.67%.The preliminary study for the stability of chromogenic solution was also investigated.
