Abstract:[Objective] This paper aimed to determine the optimum process condition of extraction and purifiction of total flavonoid and baicalin in Scutellaria baicalensis.[Method] Taking the extraction rate of ...[Objective] This paper aimed to determine the optimum process condition of extraction and purifiction of total flavonoid and baicalin in Scutellaria baicalensis.[Method] Taking the extraction rate of total flavonoid and baicalin in Scutellaria baicalensis as evaluation index,single factor and orthogonal test were used for optimal selection.[Result] The oprimum process was as follows: 10 times volume of water was added into coarse powder of Scutellaria baicalensis.The mixture was decocted for 2 times with 1.0 h / times,and then centrifuged.The supernatants were adjusted to pH 1.5,and stored at 60 ℃ for 30 min.After blending the precipitation with water,the mixture was adjusted to neutral pH and 50% alcohol was used as alcohol-precipitation.The supernatants were adjusted to pH 1.5 again and stored at 60 ℃ for 30 min.The standing precipitation was centrifuged,and then washed to neutral pH.Scutellaria baicalensis extraction was obtained by vacuum drying at 60 ℃.The contents of total flavonoid and baicalin in Scutellaria baicalensis were 94.15% and 80.15%,respectively.[Conclusion] This process was rational,practical and adapted to industrialized production of total flavonoid and baicalin in Scutellaria baicalensis.Read More
